Heritage Grange, Hinckley Road, Sapcote, Leicester, LE9 4LG

Description

Stonewater, in partnership with Miller Homes, presents a small collection of two bedroom houses for shared ownership at the popular Heritage Grange development in Sapcote, Leicestershire.

Located close to the end of a cul-de-sac, each of the terraced or end-of-terrace properties comes with two allocated parking spaces and a turfed rear garden. All benefit from a modern fitted kitchen and bathroom and have been configured internally to make optimum use of all available space. Downstairs is a living room, a separate kitchen/dining room and a useful cloakroom with WC and hand basin. Upstairs two double bedrooms and the family bathroom complete the layout.

Sapcote is a popular village to the south west of Leicester. Heritage Grange is located on the village border to the west of the centre a few hundred yards from Sapcote Recreation Ground. The Ground is ideal for a enthusiasts of a variety of sports being home to a modern pavilion, football, cricket and croquet pitches
as well as a children’s play area.

Sapcote is noted for its strong community spirit, much of which is centred around Sapcote Social Club in the village centre, a short walk from the development. The Club hosts regular games nights, as well as a variety of entertainment throughout the year. It is also home to the local darts and skittles teams.

Just to the north of the village is Stoney Cove, a large lake created from a re-purposed former quarry which is a locally renowned diving and wild swimming venue. The lake contains many sunken items for divers to explore, and is home to the UK’s largest dive store. Another popular local attraction for families with young children is the Paradise Found Educational Farm Park, just over a mile away. Here children can interact with a wide range of animals including cows, ducks, chickens, horses, reindeer, peacocks, goats, alpacas and even giant tortoises.

Everyday shopping is taken care of with a local Co-operative convenience store in the village centre,
0.4 miles from Heritage Grange. Slightly further afield, in the nearby market town of Hinckley, are a large Sainsbury’s and a Morrison’s. Hinckley has lots of places to eat and drink, as well as three shopping areas: the Britannia Centre, a shopping mall containing a large Boots; The Crescent, an outdoor shopping centre which is home to a variety of restaurants, the Sainsbury’s superstore and a Cineworld 5-screen cinema; and Hansom Court, a collection of boutique-style independent shops. For even more choice, all of the amenities of the county’s main city, Leicester, are easily within reach just 13.5 miles away via the nearby M69.

Heritage Grange falls within the catchment of two primary schools: All Saints Church of England Primary School and Manorfield Church of England Primary School, both of which are ranked ‘Good ‘ by Ofsted. Nearby senior schools include Hastings High School in Hinckley, and Thomas Estley College in nearby Broughton Astley, both of which are rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and which cater for pupils aged 11 to 16.
